Lead Design Engineer (Pressure Vessels) Post Date: 18 May 09

Job Responsibilities:

Design / engineering of equipments like pressure vessels, tanks, reactors, heat exchangers, ACHE etc. review of enquiry specification, preparation, review of quotes, review of drawings.


Requirements:

* Hold Bachelor /Diploma degree in Mechanical Engineer
* Minimum 12 years experiences
* Having experience in detailed engineering design of Pressure Vessels for Oil Refineries, Petrochemical plants, Chemical and Gas plants.
* Experience in carrying out mechanical design of static equipments such as heat exchangers, pressure vessels, storage tanks in accordance with ASME “U” stamp requirements.
* Familiarity with software like PV Elite, CoadeCal as a minimum requirement. Codes like ASME, TEMA, PED 5500, API 650 / 620 is essential. Experience in Finite Element Analysis would be an added advantage.
* Strong leadership skill
